Every two years, The Greater Chicago Jewish Festival brings together great Jewish entertainment, art, crafts, foods, fun and a wonderful community spirit.
This year’s event is Sunday, June 10, 11 am – 6 pm in Cook County Forest Preserve (Oakton Street west of Lehigh). There’s plenty of parking on site. The suggested donation is $5/person.
Featured performers this year are Corky Siegel, Howard Levy and Rebbesoul. Among the many great events on this day are two new ones: Comedysportz (Improv with a Jewish Twist) and a Kosher Barbecue Competition.
Come on out and join MCJC at the Greater Chicago Jewish Festival. And if you plan to come, please consider volunteering for a shift at the MCJC table where we’re proud to tell 50,000 people about McHenry County Jewish Congregation. Please contact Steve Danzig via membership@mcjconline.org if you can help out.
