MCJC’s Book Club
The MCJC Book Club meets every other month to discuss a Jewish-themed book. The sessions are facilitated by Rachel Kamin, director of the cultural and learning center at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El and noted authority on Jewish literature.

Adult Bnai Mitzvah Program
Do you remember your Bar or Bat Mitzvah and the prayers and Torah text you learned? Perhaps you are now ready to learn it anew. Perhaps something is stirring inside of you and you would like to renew your connection to the prayers and Torah. Perhaps you never had a Bar/Bat Mitzvah as a youth and would like to this year? Our Adult B’nai Mitzvah course prepares adults to comfortably access the texts and prayers of our tradition.
