Social Action Committee "Adopt-A-Highway" and "Adopt-A-Trail"

The MCJC social action community service committee is participating in the McHenry County Department of Transportation's "Adopt-A-Highway" Program and the McHenry Count Conservation District's "Adopt-A-Trail" Program this summer and fall. Participating in these two community service programs entails picking up litter along Ridgefield Road between Country Club Road and Route 14 and along the Route 14 bike trail between Ridgefield Road and Lucas Road. If you are able to help out, please contact Bruce Weiss at 815-338-2721 or woodstockbruce@hotmail.com. Four volunteers can complete the work required in 45 minutes to one hour. Volunteers need to bring gloves. Other work supplies are provided.
