MCJC Meets Rabbi Donni Aaron

Rabbi Donni Aaron visited the MCJC congregation for a potluck luncheon after services

On Saturday, the MCJC community came out to meet Rabbi Donni Aaron.

Rabbi Donni Aaron comes to us from Anshe Emet in Chicago. Her work has also led her to serve the Jewish communities of Los Angeles and Pittsburgh. Her previous roles prioritized education and community involvement, and she has published with InterfaithFamily.com. Both an artist and musician, Rabbi Aaron builds experiential tefilla opportunities for Jews of all ages, welcoming and engaging all into their Jewish experience.

She visited the shul on Saturday in order to meet the congregation and get a feel for our pulpit, as she works with the MCJC Board to decide whether or not she will take the job as the new Rabbi of our congregation.

The event was a wonderful success. Many old friends came together in fellowship for the first time in a long time, and we were joined by new faces as well!

Wonderful food, good conversation, and tremendous fun were had by all.
