A Note From Our President - By Jonah Markowitz
Hello MCJC Family;
I hope that you are all well and enjoying the summer. I want to share how excited I am about the coming year at MCJC. I know that the last couple of years have been incredibly hard for all, and I am really happy that we will all get to enjoy each others’ company in-person again.
This is going to be a great year! Thanks to all of you, MCJC will continue to be a home for the Jewish community here in McHenry County. I truly feel that this new chapter in our story will be remembered as the time that we really dug deep, gave it all we had, and succeeded in preserving this wonderful congregation for the next generation.
I want to thank the previous board and current board members, all of the incredible people that put so much time and energy into MCJC, and each and every one of you for helping to keep us here to stay and for sticking it out during such a challenging time. Looking forward to seeing all of you at our inspirational services, great social events, and all the other occasions that bring us together. I’ve always thought of MCJC as home, so I’m very pleased to be able to say to all of you, Welcome Home!
Good things,
Jonah Markowitz
